Topic Research: Alice in Wonderland

Three Stories:

The first story, or episode in Alice in Wonderland's case, that I am interested in writing my own story from would be the beginning episode, Down the Rabbit Hole. I am interested in starting from this episode because the idea that I favor right now for my story is one that follows a new character that ends up going on Alice's adventure with her. Right now I feel like I would want the new character to be there from the start of Alice's story. I think I could make the new character's background better if that character also started in a similar place as Alice and then ended up meeting her from there before they venture into Wonderland.

I think A Mad Tea-Party is also a great episode to start a story from. Depending on the background that I want to give my new character, this could be a great place to start my story. There are many characters in this episode due to where the tea-party takes place and what happens there, so I feel it would be very easy to have my new character be introduced during this scene. This would also allow me to make the character's background story more interesting since they would have traveled to Wonderland without Alice, but I am not sure what direction that would go in yet. 


Another possible option that I thought of due to a video game that actually enters Alice's story at a similar spot is starting from the episode Who Stole the Tarts? I think this would be an interesting starting point for my story because most of the story has been established at this point, but I would still be introducing my new character. The character could show up at an interesting part during the trial and play a major role in it. Starting here would give the new character an interesting background, if fleshed out, just like if I started from the tea-party scene.

They had just been scared for their lives due to some boys who had skipped rocks across the pond for fun. The boys finished having their fun skipping stones in the pond.
